CYTRIX gives you the option to export a report on various formats (As of now; DOCX, PDF, CSV, JSON, XML, Executive Summary, HTML, Developer Report and Business Impact Report).
This is in order for our users to be able to learn how to reproduce the exploit and restore the attack to verify that the vulnerabilities do exist, and, to verify your fix has worked by re-scanning, to get all of the information from the scan results in our UI into a full organized report with all of the important information such as the Method, Instance, a full Description, the Business Impact perspective, and Recommendations.

How to choose a report type when exporting?
When you wish to export your report you can choose the type that it will be exported as :
Report Types :
DOCX
DOC-type reports are aimed to be edited before sending, therefore the report export itself in DOC format, the report includes all of the relevant information as presented in our UI.
Exporting a DOCX report will allow you to receive all of the important information that we mentioned at the beginning of this article.
PDF-type Reports are aimed to be sent without any need of editing the information, to your internal IT Teams, CISO, etc.
Exporting a PDF report will allow you to receive all of the important information that we mentioned at the beginning of this article.
Please notice that you cannot edit the PDF file before sending it or exporting it.
HTML
HTML-type reports are aimed to be either implanted, or, to be integrated with your desired website\ web service.
Exporting an HTML report will allow you to receive all of the important information that we mentioned at the beginning of this article.
CSV
CSV-type reports are aimed to be used in and to be ingested in various programs that will enable you to import CSV files.
Exporting a CSV report will allow you to receive all of the important information that we mentioned at the beginning of this article.
JSON
JSON-type reports are mainly being used by programmers, you’ll receive a JSON based file, containing all the information regarding the vulnerabilities that CYTRIX has detected.
Note : might seem a bit similar to the “GetScan” function on the API Client.
XML
XML-type reports reports are mainly being used by programmers, you’ll receive an XML based file, containing all the information regarding the vulnerabilities that CYTRIX has detected.
Executive Summary
Unlike the rest of the report types, Executive Summary reports will not display any in-depth information related to the vulnerabilities.
They are mainly being used in order to be presented to “less technical” people, who wish to receive general information derived from the scan.
Developer Report
Written and mainly being used by developers.
Written in a way so that everything being displayed is easier to “embed”.
Business Impact Report
Similar to the Executive Summary type, this type was meant to display a “less-technical” report.
It focuses on explanations as to the results of the scan and how the vulnerabilities found will affect the company and its assets.
Blacked Report
Similar to DOCX Report. A “Partial” report, which will display some of the Findings CYTRIX has detected.
The rest will be Hidden.
