Sometimes, Scans will receive the ‘Aborted’ status. That means that for some reason, the Scan was Aborted, preventing Kayran from continuing to scan properly.
Most cases, that happens due to the site preventing Kayran from accessing it.
Types and their Meanings:
- Timeout When Connecting to the site: will be displayed in cases that Kayran was unable to establish a Connection to the Target. Could probably be due to Invalid URLs, or issues communicating with the Server.
Check your URL. If it’s valid, using a Fixed IP could solve it.
- Kayran was blocked from the server: will be displayed in cases that Kayran could not access the Target anymore and was Blocked.
Using a Proxy or a Fixed IP could solve it.
- Something went wrong with the scan: for any unknown reason, the Scan could not be continued.
Re-initiate the Scan. If you keep encountering issues, please contact us.
- The website is not available for Kayran anymore: will be displayed in cases that Kayran could not reach the Target anymore.
Using a Proxy or a Fixed IP could solve it.
- The browser has not received any information from ‘SELF LOGIN’: will be displayed in cases that the Self Login being used is wrong or was not being completed correctly.
Try adding this Self Login again and initiate the Scan a second time.
- Status code changed from 200 to ‘StatusCode’, The website is not available for Kayran anymore: will be displayed in cases when the appeared status code caused an Error.
- Target Redirection Error – trying to redirect to ‘target…’: will be displayed in cases that Kayran has detected that the Target is trying to redirect to another URL.
Adding the URL being redirected to as an API Target before initiating the Scan could solve it.
