IP address disclosure

Description

During the scan, Cytrix managed to find IP address disclosure vulnerability.
An attacker could abuse the IP address disclosure to get a better view of the server and the devices exists in the organization’s network. It can lead to exposing sensitive information on the server.

An attacker could abuse the IP address to get a better view of the server and the devices in the organization’s network. It can lead to sensitive information being exposed on the server, which could assist potential attackers.

This disclosure might leak information about the IP addressing scheme of a company’s/organization internal network. An attacker can use these IP addresses in conducting network-based attacks.

Recommendation

It is recommended to hide that IP address, and, any information related to or may imply this address.
