Apache – CVE-2004-1834

Description

Cytrix has detected that the mod_disk_cache stores sensitive headers in the Version of Apache HTTP Server being used.
Also known as CVE-2004-1834.

The mod_disk_cache in your Apache stores client headers, that includes authentication information on a hard disk.
That will assist attackers in obtaining sensitive information (Information Disclosure).

When this information is disclosed, it will assist attackers in performing attacks against your assets.

Recommendation

To fix CVE-2004-1834, upgrade the version of Apache HTTP Server being used to 2.0.53.
